Coca-Cola Europacific Partners UK (CCEP), the bottlers and distributers of Coca-Cola, are at the forefront of manufacturing and distribution. As part of their mission to build a progressive business to lead the future, the UK Leadership Team asked us to define their inclusive culture strategy and work with them to deploy it across the organisation. We’ve partnered with CCEP since 2017, working with their 4,000 strong UK organisations and deployed multiple strands of this inclusion strategy, driving inclusion within the business.

We began by working with the Senior Leaders using our Accelerate methodology to define the programme of change. We equipped the senior leaders with the skills they needed to build an inclusive business culture and supported them in developing a strategy. 

One of the initiatives identified through the Accelerate was the launch of JustBe - 150 Inclusion Ambassadors who are the engine room of the strategy driving change everyday. JustBe organise events, build psychological safety as well as driving change at a team level. Additionally we developed a bespoke Factory Accelerate Programme, training 300 factory floor managers. We then initiated a ‘train the trainer’ programme, targeting the 2000 workers within the supply chain.


The combination of our Train the Trainers and JustBe facilitated change at all levels of the company, with over 250 staff members at all levels making a commitment to continually drive change. We also delivered our Utopia Equity Programme, supporting CCEP in their aim of improving the inclusion of multi-cultural staff across the business and addressing specific challenges Black, Asian and People of Colour experienced within the business.  

As a result of working with Utopia, CCEP saw their engagement, belonging and inclusion scores increase across the company, greater confidence in management and leadership in inclusive leadership and a culture of inclusion embedded across all levels of the company.
